Wednesday January 30, our last day

Well today was pretty uneventful. A little more gambling, I turned $10 into $21 on the deal or no deal slot machine, so I cashed my winnings and say it as a sign to play blackjack. I then turned my $21 into $24!! Sweet!!
I guess the highlight of the day was when Ryan played Keno at the Pho restaurant we ate at for lunch and won $88!! One number away from $1500!!!
Well it seemed like a short trip but I honestly don't think I could handle another day in Vegas. I can't wait to get home, sleep in my own bed and see my beautiful daughter. She's the one thing I missed the most.
Looking forward to the next adventure, Devon's wedding in September!!

Tuesday January 29, my bday

Today was awesome. We rented a Dodge Charger and hit the roads. The lovely girl upgraded my car since it was my birthday.
Our first stop, a Starbucks not on the strip. Normal prices are nice. Then back on the road to Red Rock conservation area. It was a lovely day for a hike and some great scenery.
I figured since we had the car to take a trip to the Hoover dam too. We hit up Walmart on the way to buy us some cheap booze for the drunken birthday celebrations to take place once we got back. A 6 pack of beer for $5 and a 750ml bottle of Skyy vodka for $12. Thanks Walmart for your everyday low prices.
We made it to the Hoover dam just before they closed. Yep we were kicked off the dam cause it was closing. Lol
Back to the hotel, cleaned up, started drinking and off to dinner. I was blitzed before we left the hotel. I don't know how I even made it to the restaurant. Lol
I choose Gordon Ramsay's BURGR for the dinner. So good. Probably one of the best burgers, sweet potato fries and onion rings I have ever had. We also had these amazing beers too. I actually can't remember the names of them but one had a cherry taste and the other had an orange slice. A little bit of gambling before heading back. Well that's what Ryan is saying but I'm drawing a blank after dinner. Lol

Monday January 28

Today we took the bus to Fremont Street and then to the outlet mall.
We should have gone to Fremont street at night to see everything lit up but oh well. I did buy a sweet pair of shoes for the both us though.
Oh yeah today was crazy buffet day too. We got the all you can eat all day pass. We went for breakfast, then an early dinner and cause we really wanted to get our monies worth, a late dinner as well. Let's just say I was so sick. Lol
Yeah and we gambled too, which meant free drinks from the waitress, which meant Joey was blitzed again. No big winnings, but its all about having fun, right?!?

Dueling Pianos on Sunday Night

So we went to see the dueling pianos in the "Bar in Times Square" at New York, New York. Such a good night. We danced and sung the night away.  I was blitzed but I did have 5 beers well if I remember correctly.

First full day

So we were hungry. We decided to just eat at our hotel's breakfast buffet. One thing I noticed is that basically everyone here is really large. Lol
So on that note, we ventured out. Lots of things to see. I really want to check out a piano bar at one of the New York, New York bars. Possibly doing that tonight.
We ventured up the Eiffel tower. It was a little windy but great view. One of the employees we were talking to was actually from Hamilton! She moved to California when she was 2 so she doesn't remember it at all. She said she's planning a trip next year, I told her to look out for me.
We found a cool Gordon Ramsey restaurant called BURGR. Going to check out the menu. It may just be my birthday restaurant.
So in the end it has been a good day. Temperature was nice, just jeans and a tee.

Day 1
Waiting in the airport.
I thought for sure my anxiety would be through the roof especially since I'm with Ryan but I'm fairly calm. Mind you though that I have been up since 4:15am and had a coffee plus 2 americanos.  Yeah I'm addicted to americanos. Lol
So far the trip has been uneventful which is good cause I really hate flying.
